Teacher Gifts

I made these cute post-it note holders for the staff at my daugther's preschool. Since she was graduating I wanted to give them a little something to say thank you. I only got a picture of one (as it was TERRIBLY late when I made the other two) but here is at least an idea.

There are tons of tutorials out there on how to do this but if you would like to see one I can do step-by-step.

It is a 4x6 acrylic frame modified with Scrapbook paper and post-it notes into the cutest little holder!

I'm sure Ms. Erin will love this one! I hope she does!

Preschool Graduate Gifts

My daugther graduated from Preschool on Saturday and I had in my head for several weeks (ok maybe more than that lol) what I would like to give each child as a celebration gift.

This is the bag. I used my newley purchased Cricut for the first time on those tags. LOVE IT!

Inside each bag was a goodie.

This goodie. A personalized pencil box (a required school supply). I bought all the boxes and then purchased the vinyl letters from an Etsy seller HERE. {highly recommend her!!!!}
The application was super easy and I LOVE the way they turned out.

We used polka dots and hearts for the girls decorations

Most of the boxes were girls. In her class there were 13 girls and 5 boys LOL They were definitely out numbered.
Since polka dots and hearts a too feminie we used stars for the boys!

Inside I put a few things. A 24 pack of crayons (another required school item) a little bag of smarties (which I put, Good luck in Kindergarten, Smartie)

A few silly bandz (are these super popular in your area? My daugther has a billion)
And pencils with these cute toppers. I had hands like these, apples, monkeys (seen below) and dinosaurs which were my fav and I didn't photograph. I got them at Michael's for $1.00 for a 3 pack!

All 18 gifts ready to go!

We handed them out on Saturday and each child LOVED them! I have to say that parents were pretty pleased as well since there were a few required school items inside. It was easy and very affordable!

Envelopes

I have to share this site that I love to buy clear all varieties of clear envelopes. I stumbled upon this site a few years ago and I love what she does with her proceeds.

Clear Envelopes by Amber Shaw

She uses all the money she makes off the envelopes to send cards to our troops who are deployed.

I've ordered the A7+ size and have used them for a number of projects. They are awesome. Great quality and great service.

You have to go there today and ALWAYS order your envelopes from her.

Pool time

As hot as it's been lately a pool party is more than welcome in my book!

I created this simple cute pool party invitation for a big boys 5th.

Who's with me to jump in head first? I'm game!

Going Bananas

I was asked to make an invite for a monkey themed party. This is what I made!

A BANANA!!!

The very fun part is that the recipient gets to "PEEL" the banana to reveal the party info! How fun is that?

(sorry I don't have better pictures, I didn't take any before sending to the customer)

Think outside the box for invitations. It can be so much fun!

Candy Wrappers

Want an easy and fun favor to give out at your next event?

How about just wrapping a regular sized Hershey bar with a custom wrapper?

Something you can print yourself at home on regular paper, cut out and tape on!
SO SO EASY and SO SO YUMMY!

Baby Shower Corsage

I love baby showers, everything about them. From decorations to cute little clothes and beyond.

I've made a few of these corsages in the past but always with baby socks, I couldn't find cute baby socks that would work well in yellows (since the gender was unknown) so I made this corsage using the little baby mittens.

I just love how it turned out. Add in a few leaves from a leftover project some pearl strands and a cute little bow and you have yourself a beautiful corsage for mom-to-be to wear.

I really like how they look like rosettes so much. I think these work better than baby socks. I'll be using them from now on!

If anyone is interested in a tutorial I can make another one with step by step! Just comment and let me know!!

Logo becomes banner

My client sent me a picture of the logo printed on a banner. Since the project was rather quick turnaround he had the banner printed almost immediately. I think it turned out fabulous!!

ZOO-per Party!

A repeat customer emailed and asked if I could do an invite for a Zoo party. She said it was pandas, zebras, purple, pink and black and I went with it. :)

Pocket Invite

It's not that often that I get to do an invitation where I print, except for my own parties. I've started doing it more but mostly it's just design.

This is one I did for a couple's 40th Birthday party. They were turning 40 a month apart and were having a huge month long celebration with lots of different fun events.

I was lucky as the wife of the couple hired me and totally let me have free reign of the project.

This is what I came up with... a pocket folder invitation.

Their colors were red & black and I put together this invitation for them.

With a bright red envelope and coordinating sticker closure

One side was the invitation and the other had tiered information pages.

I really loved doing this invitation and the birthday couple was so pleased!
When is your next event? Contact me now so we can start working on the perfect ideas!-

Sleepover time

A friend of mine always comes to me for her daugther's invitations. Well, now that Briana is 12 she actually asks herself for me to do the invitations. We've had so fun ones over the years but this might be my favorite.

Briana is having a sleepover party next weekend and this is what I created for her.

The "envelope" :)

The invitation

So does it actually look like a pillow case & pillow?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRI!! I hope you have a very fun sleepover party!

Envelope Wrap Label

This is my first attempt at creating an envelope wrap label. They've become pretty popular and really are neat to put on the envelope to add a little extra WOW!

Turn boring envelopes into FUN. Catch their attention right out of the mail box.

I made this to match THESE invitations. I can create these in any design. Just print on full sheets of labels or plain paper and glue to the envelope.

SO INTERSTING!
For a limited time I'm offering envelope wrap designs for ONLY $2.
I will email you the full resolution file for you to print as desired!

Birthday Fun

I've been pretty busy in design land that last few weeks.

These are the two latest birthday invitations I've created!

Everyone loves a good carnival. D from Charlotte, NC asked if I could design something for her son & daughter's birthday carnival and this is what we came up with! LOVE IT!
Thanks D!

SPLISH SPLASH! It's that time of year, FINALLY! Time for pool parties! Are you having one? Well Max is and his Mom asked me to make his invitations. Isn't he hilarious in those goggles? Adorable!

Tiny Graduates

My daugther is graduating from preschool this summer. YES, the thought of her actually being big enough to go to elementary school makes me want to hunker in a corner in the fetal position crying.

I made this invitation to send our family and I will be offering it to all of the families in her class!
I can't wait to replace that pic with one of her in a cap and gown... be still my heart (and my gushing crying eyes!)

Check out my other Graduation Invitations HERE
